FAQs
The following are some of our most frequently asked questions (FAQs):
How are Your Products Different?
Most multipurpose, cleaning products rely on either VOCs (volatile organic compounds e.g. solvents), strong chemicals or enzymes to do the cleaning. On surfaces and floors, these cleaners are initially good at cleaning in the first few dips of the mop or cloth, but by the time you've covered a small area, you are actually putting grease and dirt back on the floor.
The technology in our EATOILS™ biochemical cleaning products is revolutionary. Unlike chemical cleaners that are finished as soon as they hit a surface, our EATOILS™ products just get started when they are put on your floors, counters, or carpets or down your drains. When you use an EATOILS™ product you are actually inoculating the surface with beneficial microbes. These microbes will eat all the food materials, grease, mould, urine and feces particles. As long as there is food for them to eat, our microbes keep working.
The chemicals in traditional drain opening products only create heat which temporarily melts the grease build-up in the drain and moves the clog further down the pipe, causing problems further down the drain. In drains, our microbes break the bond between the wall of the pipe and the organic matter, creating a clear, free-running drainage system. Our EATOILS™ drain product actually digests the clog and coats the drain line with a biofilm to prevent further clogs. How Do Your Products Deal with Odor Problems?
When you use EATOILS™ products to clean and deodorize an area, you are inoculating the area with microbes that attack the sources of odors and destroy them. Our microbes destroy the tiniest organic particles so that the other, odor causing bacteria that are naturally present don't have a chance to get started on the food and give off nasty odors. Other products tend to mask odors and consequently they have a limited effect on the sources of odor. EATOILS™ products can remove all forms of organic odors including milk, mould, vomit, urine, perspiration, wine, coffee, blood, chocolate, pet odors & accidents, and smoke.
How Can I Tell That It's Working? A simple test of how well our product works:
When you've finished cleaning with your regular product, smell your cloth or mop or your waste water. It will probably smell of mold and mildew as the bacteria from the floor are on your mop and eating your mop head. Now smell the mop, cloth or water after using our product. They will smell clean. Your mop heads will last longer and our cleaner will go a long way - up to twice as far as the competition. More important, when you pour your left over waste water down your slowest moving drain, the microbes will clean the drain and keep it running freely! How's that for getting the most out of your product?
It Seems Like Magic - Where Does The Stain Go?
In a nutshell, here's the magic. You start with a dirty floor, a smelly carpet or a plugged drain. You use one of our products. You end up with a clean, odorless carpet or floor, grout returned to its original color and a clear, well-running drain. You have replaced the mess with invisible, harmless gasses and beneficial microbes that keep on working to keep your surfaces clean long after you're done.
How Does It Work?
EATOILS™ products get rid of the food (that attracts the bacteria that make us ill) by deep cleaning into the pores of surfaces to remove organic material. When the unique blend of microbes in EATOILS™ products come in contact with fats, oils, grease and other food particles, they secrete a series of targeted enzymes that attack the food and break it down into harmless invisible gasses (hydrogen, oxygen, water vapor) and carbon. The microbes then eat the carbon and breathe it out as carbon dioxide. EATOILS™ products enhance the circle of life. The microbes will continue working until they run out of food or are disturbed or killed by sanitizing products. They keep on working long after you're done!
There are many beneficial microbes. Beneficial microbes are found in cheese and yogurt and are a part of many antibiotics. Yeast is a microbe that helps to brew beer and make bread rise. Microbes break down the food in our garden composters and create soil. Beneficial microbes in our digestive systems help to process our food so we can get all the nutrients out of our daily diet. EATOILS™ products enhance the circle of life and save the environment by keeping harsh chemicals out of our water, soil and air. We put nature to work for your benefit!
